Winthrop Rockefeller: A Sphere of Power and Influence Dropped into a River of Need.
|
The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute Legacy GalleryArkansas was forever changed by a New York transplant in 1953. Winthrop Rockefeller chose Arkansas for his new home, and what he did for the State is the story this exhibit tells. The innovative floor plan hosts this story in a 3,000 square foot exhibit space. The overall design includes a deep and rich color scheme, stone flooring, rock elements, custom fabricated exhibit signage, floating ceiling and custom lighting.
The story of Winthrop Rockefeller's influence in Arkansas is told through 180 murals and interpretative panels. Three hundred images were selected and fully restored for this project. |
