Tyson Foods, Inc., Founders’ Room

This exhibit showcases the founding and dramatic growth of Tyson Foods, Inc. The story of the Tyson family and the company they created from humble beginnings and entrepreneurial spirit, to a company that is one of the worlds largest food producing companies today, is a story that needed telling. Through the new Founders' Room which opened in 2012, the Tyson story continues to impact Tyson team members, vendors and customers. 

This exhibit includes beautiful hardwood flooring, Tyson's vibrant color scheme, many floor-to-ceiling murals, sequential interpretative panels, selected artifacts, unique fabricated structures and LED lighting. This exhibit presents a sequential story divided by decade, an early poultry artifact display, a replica of John W. Tyson's original office and a small interactive theater.
