The boys had the opportunity to learn some exhibit skills this month. They entered our local home school association's history fair. The boys were already studying the Wright Brothers and they love all things flying, so these famous brothers were a natural choice for their exhibit. Years ago I downloaded a wonderful selection of Wright Brothers' photos from the Library of Congress website. The boys loved them. They did their research, divided the story into the primary points and then went into design phase. They designed and produced their interpretative panels by selecting typfaces, colors, textures and photos to best support their story. They also made a model of the Wright Brothers' plane - the Wright Flyer. They presented their exhibit and demonstrated their plane. They did very well and had a great time.
